Exam Preparatory Course for MLS (ASCPi) and MLT (ASCPi) Examination
Health Professionals in the field of Medical Laboratory Science who are interested in sitting American Society of Clinical Pathologist examination are invited to apply for examination preparatory course training to enhance their success in the examination. This course is designed to prepare the participants for the Medical Laboratory Scientist American Society for Clinical Pathology International [MLS(ASCPi) or Medical Laboratory Technician [MLT (ASCPi)] certification examinations. Following your training, you can sit the exam right here in Canada, or in the USA depending on your choice The exam is administered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and is a legal requirement before you can practice Medical Laboratory in not only United State but many countries with membership of over 130,000.
Both certifications are well sought after as they are one of the “gold standards” by medical laboratory professionals in more than 30 countries around the world. Individuals with MLT(ASCPi) or MLS( ASCPi) certification have a definite advantage in employment opportunities and career progression in the healthcare industry.
The course is conducted by practicing medical technologists, Clinical or Pathology Scientists and experienced lecturers.

- Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Science holders who intend to work in a clinical laboratory.
- Medical Laboratory Technologists/Technicians working in the Clinical Laboratory with GCE “O”, “A’ levels or Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Technologists and Scientific Officers with relevant university degrees and above.
